1. Citrus
Well known for high levels of vitamin C, citrus fruits are also rich in potassium, folate, and calcium, all essential to healthy skin by providing antioxidants, fiber, hydration, and tissue regeneration. Experiment with colorful flavor combinations of orange, lemon, lime, and grapefruit, and keep the rind on - that’s where the essential oils are.

2. Cucumber
Cooling, refreshing cucumber contains vitamin C, as well as vitamin K, manganese, and beta-carotene, which provide skin with both acne and wrinkle-fighting benefits, tissue repair, UV protection, and collagen production. Cucumbers are also wonderfully hydrating, and add a smooth, clean flavor.

3. Turmeric
