Iron is key to glowing skin, as it metabolizes protein while producing red blood cells and
enzymes. Sweet potatoes contain a mega dose of beta carotene, which helps us to produce vitamin A, a natural retinoid that fights wrinkles, fades hyperpigmentation, and smoothes the skin’s surface.

Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
1 large or 2 small sweet potatoes, peeled and diced | vitamin A + C for anti-aging
1 15-oz. can organic black beans, rinsed and drained | delivers oxygen to the skin for glow
1 tablespoon ground cumin | detoxifying + vitamin E for moisturizing
1 teaspoon ground coriander | calming + anti-inflammatory
½-1 teaspoon ground chipotle, to taste | immune-boosting + aids digestion
⅛ - ¼ teaspoon sea salt  | detoxifying + beauty minerals

Directions: 

  1. Boil sweet potatoes for approximately 10-15 minutes, until tender. Drain, and let cool.
  2. Combine black beans and sweet potatoes in a food processor, and pulse until blended.
  3. Transfer to a large bowl, and add in cumin, chipotle, coriander, and sea salt.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Serve with fresh organic veggies.
